Harley's Hope Foundation
www.harleys-hopefoundation.org/
Harley’s Hope Foundation was created on the premise that no companion or service animal should suffer needlessly, and that the bond between human and animal should be preserved and protected in the face of life’s challenges.
Have you thought about what would happen if your parent's pet is ill and desperately needs a surgery that neither you or your parent can provide for. "Older adults often face unique challenges, both physically and financially, which can make it difficult for them to care for their pets—yet studies have shown that pets can provide crucial companionship, emotional support, and even physical health benefits, especially to older pet parents. Because of this, Harley’s Hope has decided to focus exclusively on supporting older Coloradans and their pets."
Harley's Hope Foundation struck a chord close to my heart this year. With the passing of my father and leaving behind their 14 year old cat, I had a very difficult decision to make. I already had a dog and cat at home and my dad's cat was very stubborn, didn't like people (took awhile to get to know them) and had been the only pet for 14 years. I knew though that my parents wanted a good home for her with someone who would love her. So, after speaking with the owner of Harley's for the first time, she gave me some great advice, and I made the decision to keep Sweetie and she's been doing great!

Lotus Foundation
lotusfoundationco.org/
Lotus Foundation was founded in early 2023 with the intent of providing confidential advocacy and case management options for survivors of human trafficking in Colorado. The organization began as a dream of two advocates when they realized that the options for support in the local community are extremely limited.
We envisioned an organization that is willing and able to serve every survivor, in any capacity that they may need. We wanted to see an organization that works collaboratively with community partners rather than against them - an organization that never has to say 'no' or turn away a person seeking services, no matter how big or small their needs are.
Lotus Foundation provides confidential victim advocacy services and case management to survivors of both sex and labor trafficking. The confidential advocates at Lotus Foundation will hear you, believe you, and support you on your path in any way that we can. Our ultimate goal is to see every survivor with whom we work living a safe, healthy, and independent life.
