We are honored to announce that our 2026 partnership is with

Status Code 4, Inc.

Mission Statement

The mission of Status Code 4 Inc. (SC4I) is to provide trauma healing counseling and mental wellness educational services to First Responders and their family members.  First Responders are civilian and military members who perform law enforcement, fire fighter, emergency medical, dispatch and other emergency services.

Vision Statement

We envision a world where our first responders are strengthened through healthy leaders and a

network of friends, family, and professionals in a community that provides all the necessary supports to

build and maintain healthy mental resilience.

Value Statements

  • We are committed to providing outstanding, reliable service to Colorado’s first Responders and their family members.

  • We strongly value integrity and accountability.  We believe that our degree of trustworthiness and integrity perceived by our customers is what earns the public’s high regard for our organization. This also reflects an alignment between what we say, what we do, and how we do it.

  • We acknowledge and honor the fundamental value and dignity of all individuals. We will strive to create and maintain an environment that respects diverse traditions, heritages, and experiences.

  • We are committed to responsible stewardship of our resources.  This means we carefully use the time and talents of our employees and volunteers, and we spend wisely the funds invested in us.

  • We believe it is important to maintain sustainability in our operations through investing in our organization and the people who contribute to its success. This includes providing learning opportunities for volunteers and staff, as well as compensation and benefits that are adequate to sustain staff members and their families.

Goals

  1. Provide trauma healing counseling services for individual and group therapy sessions for First Responders and their family members.

  2. Work with the community to provide Psycho-education, Peer Support Training, and Resiliency Training.

  3. Be an avenue to provide relevant information and reference material on demand.

  4. Establish a center to offer residential intensive long-term treatment.

On a Personal Note:

Once again, I thought of the many times my dad or myself called 911 in 2024. I actually started to get to know the firefighters and EMS who came to his house. One time was my dad fell against the bathroom door and was locked in. I was frantic and not only did they continue to work on the door and try to talk to my dad, they had to calm me down too. Now these, I'm sure are minor calls for 1st responders, but my son even had a very bad motorcycle accident in October and the way every single 1st responder (EMT, Fire Department, Police and ER staff) handled themselves was extraordinary! To know they go through this day in and day out and handle much worse than I have ever seen, I realize they need an organization like Status Code 4, Inc. Sometimes, it's just needing someone to talk things through with who understands and that's what they're there for.
