We are honored and proud to announce that our 2025 partnership is with Harley's Hope Foundation! They keep pets and people together!

Have you thought about what would happen if your parent's pet is ill and desperately needs a surgery that neither you or your parent can provide for. "Older adults often face unique challenges, both physically and financially, which can make it difficult for them to care for their pets—yet studies have shown that pets can provide crucial companionship, emotional support, and even physical health benefits, especially to older pet parents. Because of this, Harley’s Hope has decided to focus exclusively on supporting older Coloradans and their pets."

Harley's Hope Foundation struck a chord close to my heart this year. With the passing of my father and leaving behind their 14 year old cat, I had a very difficult decision to make. I already had a dog and cat at home and my dad's cat was very stubborn, didn't like people (took awhile to get to know them) and had been the only pet for 14 years. I knew though that my parents wanted a good home for her with someone who would love her. So, after speaking with the owner of Harley's for the first time, she gave me some great advice, and I made the decision to keep Sweetie and she's been doing great!

There are so many great small non-profits here in the Springs that help in many different walks of life. However, I see so many animals in the millions dying everyday, that being able to help older people who care so deeply about their pets and give them the hope to be able to stay with them for the rest of their lives, is one small thing I can do in our community. I hope you feel the same way and help us in our fundraising this year.
